Q: How is this product different from regular floss picks?
A: Many so-called “eco” floss picks still contain PLA or come with plastic cases.
Our handles and cases are entirely plastic-free, made from plant fibres, and certified home compostable – ideal for those who care about reducing plastic waste and choosing safer materials.
Q: Why don’t you use PLA? Isn’t it plant-based too?
A: PLA is derived from plant starch, but it only breaks down under industrial composting conditions – not at home or in the soil.
We exclude PLA entirely so that our products genuinely return to nature after use.
Q: Is the floss itself made from plant fibres?
A: Not yet. The floss strand is currently made from PE, which offers the necessary durability for effective use.
Our team is actively developing plant-based alternatives to achieve a fully compostable set in the near future.
Q: Why is your floss pick more expensive than regular ones?
A: Most floss picks are made with cheap, non-degradable plastics. Even those labelled as recyclable rarely break down in the environment.
At aiwooyoo, we set a different standard from the start: no PLA, no petrochemical plastics, and only verified compostable plant fibres.
These materials are rarer and certification costs are higher, but we believe that reducing the long-term burden of disposable products is worth more than saving short-term costs.
Q: What’s the shelf life of the product?
A: We recommend using the product within 12 months after opening to ensure quality and performance.
Materials: Compostable plant fibre (handle & case), PE floss strand

Children should use under adult supervision.
If you wear dentures, crowns or braces, please floss gently to avoid pulling.
If irritation, bleeding or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a dentist.
The floss pick handle and case are plastic-free and designed to break down naturally after disposal, even in landfill or incineration conditions.
The floss strand is currently made with PE for durability. We are actively working on plant-based floss materials that meet the same usability standards.
