what is a banana pseudo stem?

FAKE stem?

We develop eco-materials made from plant waste, engineered and processed to create versatile, sustainable solutions that protect and deliver products and ingredients while minimizing environmental impact.

why banana pseudo stem?

Only 21% of the banana plant is harvested for consumption, while 62% of the plant, the banana pseudostem, is discarded in the fields. Therefore, we use banana pseudostems to create biodegradable, eco-friendly materials. This agricultural waste from Taiwan is both labor-friendly and environmentally sustainable.

Every batch of bananas produced generates four times the amount of waste

including rotten fruits, peels, leaves, and the largest portion — the pseudostem.
