Material Overview

This flexible packaging material is made from a blend of plant fibres and PBAT—

a compostable polymer widely used in EN13432-certified products.

Designed to meet basic sealing requirements while offering an environmentally responsible end-of-life.

Derived from agricultural by-products, including fruit pulp and fibrous plant waste
Compostable in both industrial and home composting conditions
Heat-sealable; not suitable for vacuum sealing or zip-lock formats due to temperature incompatibility
Already used by bakery and produce brands in Taiwan for certified food-contact applications
